As the association representing the business interests of its members, Consulting Engineers of Saskatchewan (CES) identifies issues of common concern to its members, and works to address these issues with appropriate stakeholders.  Outcomes benefit both the client and the consultant, which in turn fosters a positive, open and collaborative business climate.

The consulting engineering and geoscience industry in our province continues to thrive, which is directly attributable to such things as: demand for many of our province’s natural resources, unprecedented population growth, and a focus on infrastructure renewal.

With growth comes the opportunity for consulting engineering and geoscience companies to participate in activities and create opportunities that benefit the business interests of our member firms as well as the professional development of individual engineers.

This year (2011-2012) the CES Board of Directors plans to finalize a review of how we operate (governance), prioritize what we should do to best support our members (plan strategically), and improve our operations through introducing new staff talent.

By the way, this year is our 35th Anniversary, and we should use this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Saskatchewan’s consulting engineers and geoscientists wherever we can.

Please take a moment to tour our website, get a better feel for what it is that consulting engineers and geoscientists do, and see how CES is indeed the business voice for consulting engineers and geoscientists in Saskatchewan.
