City of Yorkton Cycling Network Plan

Project Description

An Active Transportation Vision for Yorkton was established: "To have an active transportation network that enhances the environment and health of residents and visitors in the areas where they live, learn, work and play". The City of Yorkton wanted to build on this vision by increasing cycling to create a safe, healthy, and connected community. Associated Engineering was commissioned to develop a Cycling Network Plan which included on-street bikeways, off-street multi-use pathways, bicycle parking as well as education and outreach components.
