COLD IN-PLACE RECYCLING OF CITY OF REGINA STREETS WITH BLENDED CEMENTS AND ASPHALT EMULSION

Project Description

Many urban local streets have been in service for several decades, and many are experiencing severe surface and structural deterioration. Over recent years, conventional full depth remove and replace rehabilitation costs have increased significantly primarily due to rising energy prices, rising source materials costs such as aggregates, and rising labour costs. The City of Regina is therefore investigating advanced road structural asset management in conjunction with cold in-place recycling and strengthening systems that help optimize limited budgets, in situ road materials, minimize environmental emissions, and provide an improved structural level of service for City of Regina residents.
