CITY OF SASKATOON RESERVOIR AND FILL MAIN STUDY
Project Description
The City of Saskatoon commissioned Earth Tech ( Canada ) Inc. to complete a study of the City's treated water reservoirs and fill mains in May 2006. The purpose of the study was to evaluate system storage, fill main capacity, distribution pressures, water quality, system operation, and to recommend an upgrade plan to provide for future growth. The City's computer model of the distribution system was updated, calibrated, and enhanced to allow time dependant simulations as part of the Study. New reservoir storage guidelines and related upgrades were recommended to facilitate the operation of the system and to provide for emergency events.
