City of Regina Study of Wastewater Collection System
Project Description:
The purpose of this study was to provide a comprehensive review of the existing wastewater collection system in terms of condition and adequacy. The study identified system changes, operational and capital improvements, required to sustain the system for present and future development for the next 50 years. Growth and future development capability was assessed. The study generated new data by means of a dry weather and wet weather monitoring program, and CCTV inspections of the trunk system.
The collection system was modelled using the HYDRA software, incorporating every pipe, manhole, pump station and service connection in the City.
