Town of Maple Creek Water Treatment Plant Upgrade
The completion of Maple Creek's Water Treatment Plant Upgrade project resulted in Saskatchewan Environment rescinding a boil water advisory which had been in effect for over 2 years. Completed by Bullée Consulting Ltd., the design of the water treatment plant process and controls system was detailed and complex, in that a single treatment process was sought to treat three very different raw water sources.
To safeguard the community's water supply, advanced water treatment technologies were applied. The result is the largest municipal membrane water treatment plant in Saskatchewan, removal of the boil water advisory and affirmation of the Town's reputation for good water. The Water Treatment Plant Upgrade is providing an excellent, safe water for the community of Maple Creek.
